Overview of Artistic Practice
The exploration of emotions and the power of color are central to my artistic practice. Through abstraction, I strive to convey a multitude of emotions, tapping into the vast spectrum of human experience. By employing abstraction, I aim to remind viewers that there exist infinite perspectives through which emotions can be perceived and understood.

In embracing abstraction, I highlight the possibility of diverse viewpoints coexisting harmoniously. It serves as a gentle reminder that, despite our differences and flaws, we are all interconnected as human beings. These imperfections and vulnerabilities that define us ultimately bind us together in a shared human experience.

As an immigrant, art became a profound means of connection for me, allowing me to find a sense of belonging both within myself and in my surroundings. It taught me that, regardless of our origins, we all share common emotional threads. Art became a sanctuary where I could freely express myself and foster a sense of home.

My artistic process revolves around capturing the essence of emotions in the present moment. It is deeply personal and ever-evolving, mirroring the fluidity of human emotions. Employing a range of mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, and soft pastels, I create a foundation for my work. Occasionally, I incorporate mixed media techniques, including elements like salt and glitter, to add further depth and texture. You will often find traces of my own touch, as I employ my hands and fingers to imbue my artwork with my raw emotional energy.

Overall, my artistic practice is driven by a desire to forge connections, explore emotions, and celebrate the richness of human experience. Through abstraction and the expressive use of color, I strive to invite viewers into a world where emotions transcend boundaries and provide a sense of unity.
