Nasty Women @ Omi Gallery

Oakland, CA, 2017

”Revisioning the intersectional reality of women's identities, safety, creativity and right to speak are all represented inside the NastyWomen Oakland exhibit on display at Omi Gallery at Impact Hub Oakland, April 2017. Organized by guest curators Christina Campbell, Victoria Ayres, and Paula Commerford as part of the NastyWomen global art movement to provide a platform for resistance and liberation, the artists represented in this show identify as cis and trans gender women, and gender non-conforming and non-binary people. All art sale proceeds benefitted Planned Parenthood Oakland and highlighted the work of emerging and established artists from across the Bay Area.” (Omi Gallery, Oakland, CA, 2017)
